They say never let them know your next move.

3/14/23 We have been quiet. Josh and and I have been working and making progress. Here is the quarterly update (since I haven’t posted since 4th quarter of last year).

We upgraded to a Laguna CNC Machine. Best move we ever have done hands down. We had 3 Stepcraft Machines prior but had nothing but issues. I won’t slag on them because for the people who are making novelty items (cutting boards, plaques, light hobby items) the machines can be quite good. It wasn’t for our application and output.

We are close to acquiring a $30,000 machine by Vision. This will be a great asset to our shop as well. We plan on keeping machines to one job with as little tool changing as possible. This will insure it’s own quality control and minimal ware. We are hoping to have this installed before spring and up and running.

We have almost perfected out neck profiles. A couple more tweaks and we will be in prototype mode. The first round of prototypes are spoken for. We have some going to local artists such as John Noonan a noteworthy artist, Jim Mattrazzo of Guitarlessons4all.com a Berklee Music School Grad, and a couple few big name Youtube Celebs on board as well to be named once the guitars are completed and sent out.

Wavering Faith.

We have hired a few people to help us.

Martin Miranda is a consult for us. He has unapparelled industry experience. He has worked with the biggest names in the industry and still does. He comes from Valley Arts (and the Valley in California). At one point I will post a Pod Cast of some of the best stories. The one about Ted Greene immediately comes to mind. It is going to be a blast. He joins us as a consultant and also to assist with Fret Work.

Alex Reyell is our resident painter. He comes to us from Asante Sign Group. A well seasoned painter that will be doing our stock and custom finishes. We are extremely excited to bring him aboard and he can’t wait to get some of these finishes out. Side note, we have upgraded our paint vendor and can with confidence say that we are using the same paints that the big boys are using. We also have secured our Metal Flake supplier which is also what the big boys use. We plan on being one of the big boys. We are big kids now after all.

Our first 2 Artist announcements

Jim Mattrazzo – as mentioned above. He is coming on board and will have a signature BGW guitar which will be available for purchase. Side note, there is no upcharge for signature models. They will most likely use the same awesome hardware and have close to the same specs as production models, they should be pretty close price wise to what our standard models will be price wise.

Please check out his lesson site guitarlessons4all.com

John Noonan – John has been a friend of mine and Josh for years. He has flourished as a serious player with serious knowledge. He will be doing most of our demos for youtube and this website. He currently works at Parkway Music. The cat knows gear. We are psyched to have him on board.

Marketing

Danielle Plumadore (last name soon to change) A longtime friend and someone who was always there and didn’t go away even after going through some of the toughest times. Danielle is a Marketing Extraordinaire. She gets on my case and calls me out which is a good thing. I sometimes need that. She is the perfect person to help us launch this year. She is waiting for me to give her the green light.

Merchandise

I am finally getting to it. I wasn’t gung ho about it until now, I want to have guitars out in the wild before promoting our website which is still just a blog.

As we enter into Spring this will be updated more and more. Right now we are waiting in the wings.
